Engaged Leaders pioneers THRIVE Club, a hands-on learning program for area youth that teaches leadership, sound decision-making, community service, and good character, with the goal of ensuring that all young people have equal opportunities to succeed.

Imbedded into Omaha Public Schools for the past 15 years, THRIVE is a wildly successful initiative that impacts attendance, GPAs and graduation rates of its members through mentorship, connection and community, confidence- and skill-building, and more. We build ethnically diverse relationships and meaningful skills that set our members up for success.

The curriculum consists of weekly meetings with trained facilitators, group activities, field trips, classroom learning, volunteering and tailored projects with a focus on four core values:

Applied Knowledge
Grit

THRIVE also includes peer-to-peer mentoring to enhance language development for English learners, officer opportunities for standout students and mental health support.

Club members represent 11 different countries and speak 18 different languages. Everyone is welcome in THRIVE Club.

How Can You Access and Correct Your Information? You may request access to all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain in our database by emailing us using the contact form provided to you within the site structure of our website.
